“Lumpi-Berndorf Draht –und Seilwerk GmbH” was born in 2005 from the merger of “Ing. Josef Lumpi Drahtwerk GmbH” with “Berndorf F.A.S. GmbH & Co KG”.

Both companies were traditional businesses in the area of electric energy transfer, and each have long histories.

	NEW IN PROGRAM Surface treated conductors for noise-reduction in 400 kV overhead lines


	Management System The management system has been adapted to the new ISO 9001/2008 and is already successfully certified.


	For our conductor customers! The pallet of the high temperature conductors , now use the alloy “ZTAL” which can be operated continuously up to 210 °C and “HACIN” – wires. HACIN - wires provide a reduction in the sag of high temperature conductors.


	Loss of a valued friend and colleague We regret to have to inform you that our valued colleague, Mr. Franz Lechner, died after a short severe disease at the age of 60.


	Leave-Taking Mr. Melicher Long lasting employee retired after 32 years We wish Mr. Melicher all the best for his unhurried pension.
